I don't want to tank but I also don't want our stars out here in pointless games

Stats be damned, there's no reason to march Brees and co. out there and risk injury.

Drew needs to sit Sunday. No reason for him to be out there in a meaningless game. Only problem is if we sit him we're conceding that the tank is on. Goodell will probably make up some rule about conduct detrimental to the league and take away one of our draft picks

Payton has to show he's worth $9mm so he coaches like he gives a frick for the last 3!
And the true fans, you know the selfish ones who want a stupid single win now that doesn't mean shite, don't care about high draft picks! Why see if we have anything beyond Brees with Grayson, nah let's not know until Brees retires. Let's risk Brees and other starters to injury like Carr and Mariota because we need that instant gratification.

No way in hell Brees sits. How many games has he missed in his 11 years for us? I think it's just 1...last year against Carolina.
How pissed do you think Brees would be at CSP for even asking him to sit? I agree that much more harm can come than good, but it's not going to happen.

I don't WANT the saints to win. But the thought of rooting against them disgusts me, obviously I know draft pick matters and to me more importantly scheduling. I'm at the point where I don't give a frick win or lose but can't pull against them
