To wait in the wings to replace Drew. If someone told you that you can have any one of the current young QBs in the league, who would you want?

Jameis Winston
Carson Wentz
Marcus Mariota
Jared Goff
Derek Carr
Deshaun Watson
Deshaun Kizer
Jimmy Garoppolo
Andrew Luck
Mitch Trubiski
Blake Bottles
Dak Prescott

I would take Carson Wentz. Good arm, makes good decisions, more athletic than people realize.

Close second would be Derek Carr

Out of that group, Carr is the easy answer.

After that, it's Luck and Winston. Then Wentz and Mariota.

Carr or Wentz. Luck a very close second.

Mariota is absolutely superior to Winston. Wentz is still a small sample size, same with dak, but I probably take those two over Winston as well.

If the Colts haven't permanently damaged Luck's body, him.

The best QB in that group is Luck ,but he has been hit so much that you wonder about his health because he had his kidney lacerated. All in all I would still take Luck with Carr and close 2nd.

Show me the data for Winston as #1. In fact, show me why he'd be ahead of Mariota.

Biggest turnover machine in the league. Not very accurate. I wish I were on a computer so I can show exactly why Winsont as #1 out of all of these is ridiculous.

Not even really close for me. Luck has been the main reason IND has had any success. Shitty chuck pagano and limited weapons, bad defenses. Guy has shouldered the load

Luck
Carr
Mariota
Winston

OAK, TEN and TB are building some very good teams around those guys. JAC too, except Bortles doesn't look like the guy

And Wentz was pretty terrible last year. Not that he can't be good but he's closer to blake Bortles until he proves something

Wentz's turnover numbers were right on par with Winston's, so if you knock one for it it goes equally for the other.

On the flipside Winston is a better runner and threw a lot more TDs also.

Overall, so far, Winston is the better QB of those two.

Now Winston vs. Mariotta is a much more compelling argument.

Throwing Luck out, to this point I think tier one of these young guys is clearly Carr and Prescott (though he has to prove it again this year), and tier two is Winston and Mariotta.
