What round should the Saints address the LB position?

This. Saints need more coverage LBs.

I would love that.

I think CM would not only fulfill a need as pass catching Rb gamebreaker but would also line up in the slot as well. He'd undoubtably be out 3rd most productive receiver.

I like most of the picks besides McCaffrey.

The closer it gets to draft, the more I entertain doubling down at both CB and EDGE.

Conley, Butler, Willis, Rivers
Reddick, Butler, White, Walker

Would be an amazing draft. We add an all-pro CB, two great options at DE and an unstoppable gadget player.

I'm good with McCaffery at 11 only if we sign AP to a contract and trade Ingram for more picks.

Sorry got caught up in another thread and forgot about this.

First he's projected 4th-6th (and for good reason) so getting him in the third is reaching when we don't NEED a tackle this year. I know projections can be wrong but I really don't see him going before the 5th.

Second his pass protection is subpar and I don't think with his deficiencies he can overcome that.

Third he played mostly LT and I worry if he can play well on the right (think Peat but maybe not as bad a transition).

I'd rather take a road grader that actually played RT his whole college career. If you don't see that this draft then wait a year and sign a FA fill in (still have decent backups out there).

NFL.com has him projected Round 3-4.

Draft Projection Round 3-4
Bottom Line Three-year starter with experience at both tackle positions, Holden's lack of speed to the edge in his kick slides makes a career at the left tackle spot unlikely. He has good power as a drive blocker and should be a natural fit on the right side. Offensive line coaches will fret over his short arms, but he's a tough guy, with core strength and plus technique who can win a spot on a roster.

He didn't play well on the right in college and played LT the last 2 years, where he played better.

Though I'll give that maybe it's because he got better after his first year starting at RT. So maybe my fears are unfounded.

He still has limitations though (you still need to be able to pass block even on the right).

On the projection, I used nfldraftscouts, but I don't argue much against nfl.com's either. So 3-5 is a good middle.

I still think 3rd is too high for him, and we have no 4th or 5th rounder. I'd rather wait until next year instead and just sign a FA for depth instead of taking him.

I see this.

I'd like to future need the RT position, but 4th-5th is better round for guys around Holden, etc.
