I'm thinking like 143. 1 or 2 td's.

Also thinking Ingram Ingrams Spoon on Play 1.

PP7 isn't a shutdown corner, so why put him on our best receiver?

revis is a concern, Sherman is a concern

Peterson is good, but there are yards to be had on him. He's not a lockdown corner. At times he gets flat out abused

Revis is a good analogy. Sherman is irrelevant in this comparison. Peterson is certainly solid, but Cooks will probably not be going against PP at all.

i don't understand your logic. you are insinuating that teams generally don't want to put their best corner on another teams best wr.

Well the point im not speaking in man to man coverage terms but in skills at playing the position

Peterson is good, he could take colston out of the game entirely rather than get worked by cooks all game. Regardless, Payton will move him around enough and the cards d will tip their hand

Im just worried about our defense. The cards oline woes should be a huge benefit. I think it's a close moderate scoring game and the last team with the ball probably wins

Someone will eat. Snead, Coleman, Cooks will all have solid performances. We will be talking this up next week. I just want a real game with starters to discuss. This board has been abysmal throughout preseason.

I'm hoping about 150 2 TDs because we're going to need offense on their game. A healthy Brees should be enough to put 30+ on the board against a good defense. I don't think our defense is going to be very good early in the season at least.

Before injuries and all, I was excited about potential defensive improvements. Now I'm wondering if drops will be the only reason opponents miss any passes this season.

I think Hicks and Cam are gonna abuse their interior line.

I don't think our defensive guys are going to abuse anyone, but this is being overlooked. Their offensive line is wrecked right now

I occasionally get scared when Payton gets too cute for his own good in play calling. Cooks is all over every media publication as a break out player. I hope he has 10+ catches for 150+yds and everyone sez Dayum he is THE breakout star. Don't overthink the strategy and have him as a decoy primarily Payton.

I would think with how often he's been hurt you would have to say Ingram Spoons Spoon.

Payton doesn't have any choice. We have never been this thin at receiver under Payton.

It's cooks then its a truckload of bums.

He's our fastest legs, our best hands and best route runner. He's going to be forced to do it all this year

I hope we don't throw at him - all you LSU haters can suck it, Peterson > Sherman/Revis

I'm not sure if it is an indication of what they will be doing this season, but against Oakland in the 3rd preseason game Peterson did not follow Cooper around (maybe he didn't want to get beat by a rookie the whole time ). He stayed on the defenses left side of the formation. The announcers made a comment about it and that he would be staying on one side of the field this season. Not sure if they were just trying it out for a preseason game or it will be a season long change.
