This will probably go down as the golden era of New Orleans Saints football

think about this shite, 2 division titles, 3 playoff appearances, 2 NFC champ game appearances, 1 NFC Title, and a frickING SUPER BOWL TITLE...not to mention what happens in the near future

My god, soak it in man. We are watching the Saints, led by a Hall of Fame QB in Drew Brees, consistently be regarded as an elite team, play on national prime time TV, and get as much respect as the traditional franchises...this shite is crazy.

Drew will eventually retire, Sean Payton will too, and who knows what happens then, and even in the next 5-6 years when the key players start to wind down. All I know is 2010 was considered a disappointment, and we went 11-5 with a playoff berth

who fricking dat

Don't think there's any doubt.

At the same time, it's really hard to sit back and fully enjoy it while it's going down. People are always going to want more, no matter what. It's quite sad at times.

People won't fully understand or respect what's going on until after the good time's are gone.

After all the years of frustration we have reached the pinnacle. We've come a long way, hell, Heath Shuler and Billy Joe Tolliver used to take snaps for this team when I was a kid. I can't say enough about Drew Brees. At no point do I doubt our offense in any game, Drew Brees you da man

I couldn't enjoy the game from a fantasy aspect. He had Graham and I had Johnson with a 13point lead to start the game so everytime drew threw a td to someone else it was a sigh of relief cause I know how much he loves Graham in the redzone ....oh well it all worked out and my saints won and I'm in the championship

I sat in the Dome and watched John Fourcade and Guido Merkins. I've seen a lot of bad football. I have truly enjoyed the last six years. Even the 8-8 and 7-9 seasons I felt like we could win. We always had a chance. This is awesome.

Amen brother. I have been following the Saints sInce I was a kid and always wondered how it felt to have a great team like the 49ers back in the day.

We're finally there and damn does it feel

Know what's been great? I don't check this board during games anymore... This is the Golden age of La. football, I spent most of my life waiting for this moment and from 2003 on I have been the happiest sports fan out there...thing is some of our fans are a fricking misery even in victory, but there is ebb and flow to a quarter, game, and season so accept it or don't...

Fourcade,Merkins,Dave Wilson , the parade of other teams' cast offs.. Wade Wilson,Richard Todd,Kenny Stabler....etc

The days of letting other teams get their "firsts" or other players breaking records.

There were a lot of years when I never thought winning was actually possible.

so, yeah, I definitely appreciate what's been going on the last 6 years.

I also think that Colston and Graham could be HOF's, if they remain healthy for the majority of their careers. Drew is basically a HOF lock.

The whole organization, from top to bottom, has done wonders in the last decade.

I truly appreciate what we are witnessing.

Every game is like a chapter and ebery season is like a part in a great book to me. It's one of those books you don't want to ever end.

Went to my first saints game last night. Been wanting to go for a long time. Seeing this team in person really made me appreciate this team. I'm glad I got to see this team in person during their golden era
