How high of a draft pick would you be willing to give up to get Leary?

I know Dallas is looking for a backup qb so hopefully throwing in McCown could help, although he was pretty terrible tonight so it may not.

I think I'd go 5th and Luke but no higher considering he'd be a one year fill in.

We don't have a 5th-tied to the addition of Onyemata

but I would be ok giving up a 4th for Leary

Ahh yeah I forgot about that. shite, yeah a 4th is pretty steep considering we don't have a 5th.

If you want a team that has its full allotment of picks, this is not the team for you.

it has been a while since we really hit on a 4th...

Leary is a solid pro and if you resign him, he could help solidify the entire line.

We will have some money this offseason to play with...there are worse things you could invest in.

Mixed with his age he might be had at a discount especially if you resigned him before the offseason.

6th.

And that's not a move I make until week 2 or 3 of the regular season. Get a feel for how well the defense, Thomas, and Fleener are playing. If you think you think you're a legit playoff contender, then give up the 6th. If not, then just hold on to the pick.

Leary is just an adequate starter. Won't get you killed, but nothing special. He'd probably end up being a one year rental.

Yeah I mean no one wants McCown to be their qb, but he showed that he can come in and run the offense for a game or 2 last season by playing so well against Carolina so that could be valuable if Romo goes down for a game or 2.

Like I said, he may mean nothing to them but he could be an added bonus.

I somewhat agree about waiting because I feel that the oline has needed some time to mold in the past. But I'm very concerned about the way our first team looked, even though we didn't have Armstead.

Not to high Leary has a bad knee that's why he wasn't drafted. Not sure how much he has left

If they take him it will b/c they think the Oline is a dumpster fire.
