Peat - blah but glad we went OL

Anthony - stud. Great pick.

Kikaha - 19 sacks and 42 QB hurries this past season. Plays like a man possessed and will be very disruptive

Grayson - heir to Brees. CSP worked out and met with both Grayson and Petty. He decided to take Grayson. I trust him when it comes to QBs. Don't get the hate for this pick... People freak out about life after Brees because we haven't had an heir to him. We take 1, and people are pissed.

PJ Williams - 1st RD talent that fell bc of a DUI. But is a baller. Got him at 77, great value. Was way better than his teammate Ronald Darby, who went in the 50s

I like every pick and was least enthused about taking Peat at #13. But I'm glad we went OL there. Just wasn't too high on him and thought we cooks have traded back and gotten him in the 20s or whatever but he was a 1st round OL.

And I get people wanted someone who would play immediately and we took Grayson... But Brees is in the twilight of his career. The staff wanted Grayson over Petty and took him.

I really love the picks of Anthony, Kikaha, and PJ Williams though. We got much tougher on D.

The only pick I question is the CB from Florida State. I think both First Round picks were excellent picks. The second round pick has the potential to be an excellent one. Grayson is 50/50, he could be decent, could be a career back up but I like the pick.

You're a ridiculous statement.

Much better than I did after last night. This team is prepping for life after Brees. Honestly, that isn't something I ever expected them to do. I thought we would ride Brees into the ground.

You can do that without drafting his successor three years in advance though.

Love that we finally addressed LB. Would have fathered Dupree instead of Peat, but I'm okay with the Peat pick. Sounds like we got good value with the Williams pick.

The Grayson pick is puzzling. I wanted us to finally get a legit QB to groom behind Drew, but idk if Grayson is the guy. Seems to have a lower ceiling and is more injury prone than others. If it's someone we're grooming for 3 years or so I would have rathered take Petty since he looks to have more physical tools. But I'm not going to pretend I know more about QBs than SP. Interested to see how it works out.

I was on the hate Peat bandwagon, but I think the draft has gone pretty well.

If Peat is as good as people think, we may have drafted the best OT, the best MLB, the best pass rusher (statistically), and one of the better CBS in the draft.

Mid round QBS are a crap shoot, but I like Grayson. Baylor has a system that makes QBS numbers crazy. Grayson carried his entire team.

The Saints have Joe Morgan. They don't need a WR

Peat will be blocking for Grayson this season lol, that pretty much sums up how I feel

The three broken collar bone injuries worry me more than anything about Grayson. Durability is something you have to have in a QB.

I know all drafts people won't know how they are until couple years later but this definitely falls into that category. Nobody we got is a sure thing and I guess we got a lot of players the saints coveted but just so unsure how they will turn out.

C-

Peat may end up being an NFL T but has to get tougher, meaner, nastier. To me he is soft.

Anthony good player good combine. Little early to grab him. Others were still avail that had better grades

Kikaha worth a shot, nose for QB, measurables are lacking. Can he get to QB at next level?

Grayson is a huge reach. Was he even the best QB avail?

PJ really another overrated underperforming FSU CB?
