We set NFL record after NFL record for being a terrible defense, and there is no sign of improvement.

You can't ask your offense to score 45 a game

In fairness, the offense gave up 7 and ST another 7.

And the one week by some miracle that his defense played well, he couldn't come up with enough offense to score 17 points. I fricking hate Payton

For some reason, Payton is convinced that small fast guys are better defenders. The Saints have no chest on defense.

Ultimately yes. Cause he wont aggressively adress the defense and horrendous speacial teams.

Lewis, breaux, Williams, swann, Wilson, vacarro, ellerbe, rankins, kikaha, armstead, Snead, whoever the hell else are all out. What do you people honestly expect?

Well he'd rather spend FA money on shitty TEs and draft picks on redundant OL that cant even play another position well.

Payton and Loomis are basically the pro version of Les Miles.

We have so many injuries!!!!

It's the same thing every year. Why does this team always get decimated by injuries? Are they just that unlucky?
For some reason we have kept ellerbe on the team even though he can't play with a paper cut.
It's time to start looking at injury history when drafting and signing free agents.
I believe the 2014 draft we drafted about 4 guys who had missed their final year in college due to acl tears.
It seems like we target injury prone players and it shows when we always have a rosters worth of guys on ir at the end of the year.

No dipshit but I can only imagine if half the damn defense and key contributors on offense weren't missing tonight it wouldn't be this bad. It's unfortunate but you can't possibly be pissed because you expect this defense to stand it's ground. If you do then you're just straight up ignorant

Injuries hurt. They do.

Saints need to pull a on LSU at the end of the season.

The Drew/Payton era is OVER.
