Now we want to move him to MLB? Come on guys!

Harper has the build for it if he adds 10 more lbs. It could extend his career for several ore years. especially in a 3-4 where his skill set would be maximized.

I really liked the package where Harper was on the field as an extra linebacker and IAQ moved in his place. I hope we see another variation of that

I do like the idea of moving him to LB, especially against spread offenses; more speed on the field (he was 4.5 speed at one time, probably 4.6+ now which is still good for LB).

But at 6-1, 200, he'd need to bulk up closer to 240 (like, say 6-1 Patrick Willis) to see the field regularly, or else he'd just be in situational packages.

Ok.

I was joking either way. He did well as a rover last year and I said before I think he could fit that role well. He's light for an every down LB but situationally I can see him as the 4th "LB" on passing downs.

Harper Probably also leads all safties in pass interference penalties and interception drops also!!!

Creating havoc in run support is a product of your defensive playcalling

I prefer my teams safeties to be able to play safety and actually stay in the same zip code as the receiver.

He'd actually have to be in the vicinity of a receiver to do that.

If they had a stat for giving up big plays I'm sure he'd be the runaway leader as well

Better than leading safeties in missed tackles since 2007!

Harper is about 20 years too late. If he was playing in the early 90's he would be one of the best in the league when safeties were not needed as much in coverage. The safety position is entirely different now.

Depends how he made the tackles. He's shite in coverage so he got plenty from giving up passes. Could get plenty from bad CB play, and gets some in the box.
