An actual pass rush and better d- back play and going after turn overs. That's the ticket.

When they went from cover 2 to man to man defense it allowed them more opportunity to stack the line.

When we play base defense the offense usually scores anyway, why not go balls out on every play? Rivers was able to make throws but on the last few drives he was getting hit on every play. You do that a couple dozen times and he will stop making the throws.
