I feel the same way.. Article

quote:

So hey, good luck Seahawks! From here on out, my money's on those guys to win Super Bowl XLVII. Because nobody collects phony, bullshite championships quite like Pete Carroll.

quote:

Meantime, don't get me wrong here. Don't mistake any of that as an indication that I've given up and have already started shoveling dirt on the 2012 Saints, or anything like that. Because that's just not gonna happen. This team has been too damn good, won too many games over the last several seasons for me to give up on 'em at 0-3 (or 0-4, for that matter.) Until they're mathematically eliminated, my position will remain "So you're telling me there's a chance?"

wang should be on everyone's regular read list fo sho

0-3 took a lot of anxiety away for me. I don't have to worry with expectation now. I can just hope and enjoy the ride.

Going 9-4 from this point and rolling into the Super Bowl might not as be far fetched as it was for the Giants late last year. Remember when we walloped them in Week 12 49-24? Three weeks later they were still at 7-7 after losing to Washington 10-23. They made the dance though and got hot at exactly the right time.

If and when hope is extinguished we could look forward to a high impact draft pick. We haven't selected sooner than #24 in 4 years.

Even if we are the super asterisk team in the year of the asterisk the organization is fine and the golden age of the Saints should proceed.

Been saying the same all week. Didn't realize the weight was there until it was gone.
Perhaps there is a bit of that with the team this year.
Perhaps putting to much pressure on themselves knowing the off season and the fans expectations of a home super bowl.
As said until mathmaticaly eliminated....there's hope!
