Exit to take? Is this your first trip to New Orleans?

Go early. Take I-10 to New Orleans, get off at the Superdome exit. Pay $20-$30 to park. No biggie.

I have only been to a few games this year. I usually take the tulane ave exit, it may be labeled business 90. anyway you circle around and get on tulane ave and head toward the dome. from this point, you can either continue straight and park in the paid lots in that area or you can take a right on claiborne(I think), its the street that runs under the overpass. kinda go right on this street until you get to poydras. take a right on poydras then take a quick left and try and find a free spot in that big area underneath the overpasses. This was the best spot to park for many years but more assholes started roping off huge sections and I prefer now just to pay 20 bucks and park in a lot instead of have trouble with morons that think they own public property.

I usually just do this. You can park for free on alot of those streets right around the LSU medical center. Super easy to get out from there too.

tulane is the best exit to take period. dont even think about taking any other exit but tulane if you are running late.

Park at International High School of New Orleans. On Baronne St across from Rouses Supermarket . GPS Baronne and Girod St intersection and it will get you there. $25 fenced in secure parking as they watch your vehicle. Moe will offer you free water, food and restroom when you park. When you depart, you go several blocks, follow signs, turn right to go to I-10 on ramp and head home. Been parking there 3 years. Easy in and easy out. He gives discount if you pay in advance for the entire season.

anyone telling you to pay to park is stupid.

how early are you coming? if its early(before 10), you can take the exit closest to the dome. Wont be much traffic. if not you may want an alternate route.

instead of explaining where to park for someone that obivously doesnt know his way around, use this address "601 South Galvez Street, New Orleans". Its the corner of South Galvez & Poydras. Anywhere in that immediate area heading towards the Superdome is FREE to park. And safe.

You have two choices:

1. Between 2 white lines, or
2. Between 2 yellow lines

You're welcome

Personally I like to park a little farther away and walk bc IMO its a whole lot easier to get in and out. My suggestion would be to take St. Charles exit off the interstate and then take an immediate left on Carondelet when you get off the ramp.

Drive down Carondelet and start looking for street parking around Julia and Girod. Its not a bad walk to dome and it is really easy to get out after the game.
