Get off Hartley

I see comments blaming Hartley for ATL being atop the division by one game. Didn't Drew Brees throw two INT's in that game? How about the other losses? 3 INT's vs. Zona and we all know how well Drew played and how many INT's he threw against the Browns. Now beffore you think I am Drew bashing, I would take him over any QB in the league. I am using him as an example, well because he walks on water and who else to use to point out the double standard.

Yep. Last time I checked, Hartley didn't give up 200 yards rushing, get held to 43 yards rushing, turn the ball over 3 times, or give up 3 first downs due to penalty.

30th in the NFL in FG%
When you're paid to do one thing and one thing only and you're the 30th best in a league that has 32 teams that employ only one, I wouldn't say you're fairing well.
ETA: I'm not on the "cut Hartley" train and I support Reggie Bush and want him back next year. I'm just sick of this douche and his threads that are bereft of logic.

I'm over the whole... "If Hartley hadn't missed that FG against Atlanta, then we'd be atop the NFC South." Yeah it sucks, but shite happens...thats football. It was 2 months ago and were well on our way to being one of the favorites in the NFC.
but.... In the Fans defense. All he has to do is one thing, and thats kick the damn ball accurately like we all no he's capable of doing! He's the only liability on a championship team, so he's gonna catch some grief for missing game winning FG's under 30 yards.

the question is, why in the world would pointing out Drew's numbers (QB ratings and INT's) piss people off? It's not like it's an opinion. But I'll offer one--Drew is the sole person responsible for the loss to Cleveland. That would put us in a tie with Atlanta with a chance to go one up when we play again.

Normally it doesn't!! but you were trying to justify the Hartley argument by comparing him to Brees, its ridiculous. Especially when he's 1st in completion%, 1st in TDs, and 4th in total passing yards!
Hartley isn't anywhere near 1st in anything when it comes to kicking! He set his own bar last year at the highest possible level, so now its his job to work his arse off to keep it there.
