The first 3 picks were higher than they should have been (I'll give them a pass on Peat. When Collins ran into trouble, that really messed up the OT position at the top).

Anthony pick was absolutely fine

Kikaha based on just production is fine

What we as fans/analysts think they should go is meaningless and holds no real weight. This draft is a great example.

We took players from Hofstra and Bloomsburg? I mean, this Jahri Evans guy. Why didn't we pick Max Jean Gilles? He played for Georgia!

At least I'm not criticizing based off what I don't know(like some of you).

I didn't mean to come off snippy but it's absurd when people get upset when a team takes guys they don't know.

The Saints tried to pick tools we needed on defense and offense, and special teams, not toys. I'm happy with this draft.

The QB pick was the only pic I didn't like, but CSP knows more about qbs than I do.

This wasn't a great draft for us. Its laughable that you are such a homer that you criticize anyone who disagrees with your dumb assessment.

We still have holes that we didn't fill and are cash strapped in FA. Go ahead and explain to me how this was a great draft. All this draft tells me is our FO thinks this team is a year away from winning it all. Drafting for the future instead of now.

ETA: Anthony and Williams picks were/are great. The rest are head scratchers.

Our best pick in draft: Davis Tull.

I'm going on record right now: Tull will outshine all of the other picks. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a starter when the real games start (yeah, I really like this guy's game!).

C-

Guard, WR, and ILB were our biggest needs heading into the draft and we only filled one of them despite having 9 picks. We took a guy at 13 that may not even start this year. Don't really see the point in doubling up on OLBs, though I don't have a problem with either player.

Tull can play inside/out. Will he be placed at ILB? I don't know.

Also, looks like the guy that said we were working on a deal with the Bears at 7 was probably right. Payton said he tried to make a deal with them, but their new GM was being difficult. Didn't specify which pick he was trying to deal for, but I'd assume that the posted that said 7 (for Beasley) was correct.

They're probably comfortable with Lelito and Kelemete plus any UDFA there.

I saw WR as "Yeah I want another one, but do I absolutely need another one?" no not really. With how involved we get our backs and TES in the passing game, the guys we have plus a couple UDFA will be fine. People forget we have Drew Brees at QB.

Who in the world complains about doubling up on pass rushers? They're very high on both guys.

Did I get mad about it? I simply gave the draft a C+ but apparently you don't agree with it so everything I say is stupid

So you are privy to where the Saints had those players rated? Do tell.
