Why are you on here talking about Bama players on a Saints board? You had no reason to bring up Henry but you did anyway. GTFO

How exactly would Fournette help the Saints other than give them more depth at a positon where they have 5 RBs already.

Yeah five garbage running backs. Draft Leonard and none of those clown will even matter.

This dude is a Bama and falcon fan? Wtf are you doing here. Gtfo please, thanks.

I ain't saying we need LF7 but man what a great piece that would be for an aging Drew and a presumed improved Oline. We already got a lot of young pieces on D.

I thought Trent Richardson was an absolute BEAST in college but I can easily admit he was a bust in the NFL. You'll be doing the same for Fournettle soon.
Fournette's SO is significantly better than any year that Richardson put up
If LSU played their first game last year, fournette would have broken richardson's career total yard in 2 years.

I can't see a running back being taken top 5 these days, no matter what their ceiling is. The career longevity for an NFL running back is ridiculously short these days.
Your theory will be ripped to shreds come the 2017 draft. It will be the draft of the running back just like 1983 was the draft of quarterback & 2014 was the draft of the wide receiver. Fournette will go top 5 with Dalvin Cook (Florida State), Christian McCaffrey (Stanford) & Nick Chubb (Georgia), depending on how he bounces back from his ACL, going not long after. Then you have backs like Royce Freeman (Oregon), Elijah Hood (North Carolina), Samaje Perine (Oklahoma), Jalen Hurd (Tennessee), James Connor (Pitt, also coming off ACL surgery), Wayne Gallman (Clemson) who could go late 1st round, to early 3rd round depending on their upcoming seasons & combine results.

I'd love Fournette. But I agree that Payton's scheme would never utilize what makes him great
See this is what very few don't understand about Fournette's skill set. He has very good to great hands & body control for a running back. He also played WR at times while at St. Aug. He had a catch right down the middle of the field against Ole Miss his freshman year that showcased his ability. He isn't just a downhill runner. That's just what he has been asked to do so far in the Tigers offense. The plan is to get him the ball more in the passing game this season so people will finally get to see what type of receiver Fournette actually is.

I sure hope not. I don't want him going to that dumpster fire

I somewhat agree but many of the comments in this thread are thinking in the present instead of the future. Our offensive line could look much different in 2017. This is probably both Strief's & Lelito's last season with the team. That means either Peat moves to RT permanently or the team finds a new RT in the draft, via trade or free agency. If Peat does move to RT to replace Strief next season, the team will most probably have 2 new guards because there isn't starting material right now on the roster. Kelemente at best is a fill in starter who provides quality back up. Lelito has been awful & has gone the way of Brian De La Puente. Solid in the first season or two but falls off a cliff after that. We just haven't seen enough of Landon Turner & Jack Allen to know if they are viable options moving forward.

Before this year I wanted two new starters for the o-line.
Now I think we need three new starters on the o-line for next year.

Go screw your sister , you dumbass gump. You're probably the same type of person who thought Trent Richardson was going to be the next Ricky Williams .

It happened this past draft

You've got a donkey dick brain if you think Henry is anywhere close to as good as Fournette. Go back to bed and screw your Gump sister

Payton couldn't make a pro bowler out of Bush.
