I think the way a few people yesterday and today have been upset about the draft have forgotten about this guy.

Delvin Breaux's teammate from the Canadian league who an all out baller that will be our versatile Deone Bucannan type player that every teams seems to be seeking right now. He is a Swiss army knife on the field.

He will have a ton opportunities this year and I really think he will turn some heads.

Highlights in case you missed them

Are you sure he won't make the roster? He was brought here for a reason. They clearly had a plan for this guy.

He can make the team, but he's not Breaux 2.0. He sounds like a special teams player who's too big to play safety and too small to play linebacker. Might be able to cover some TEs.

I'm still in awe of Delvin's journey. It really is fricking awesome. So happy for that kid.

Most dumb statement you can say now about linebacker. Have you not seen the direction the league has been going in? The whole league is beginning to be dominated by smaller versatile linebackers. You don't need size at all. Just great instincts and strength.

Btw "just cover tight ends." We were the worst team in the NFL in that category. Thats an important attribute to have these days and guess what its primarily these smaller linebackers that have the ability to that and also lay the boom in the run.

He's 220. CJ Mosley and Ryan Shazier are two of the lightest true linebackers in the NFL, and that's 15 pounds lighter than them.

And you put the word "just" with the TE coverage, not me. That is a big deal and I hope he can do that.

I don't understand. I wasn't suggesting he wouldn't make the roster.

nice wildcard fo sho! I like the aggressive harvesting of CFLers and not costing a draft pick.

I'm seeing some components coming together that COULD evolve to a real NFL defense. That's all we have asked the football gods for. That's all we need. Get a upper end defense and you could see dominance. I wonder if some have lost perspective of how much Brees singularly keeps this team competitive. We're talking not bad defense. We're talking alltime historically worst and still win 7 games.

But this guy is making a living doing exactly what Harris was brought here to do. Oh, and Harris is about 10 lbs heavier than him.
