I'm on the west coast...I just wake up and start my gumbo a little earlier than before. These guys are a lot more passive about their football, so I do miss the passion.

Sunday ticket here in hawaii. Get up at 6:00 and watch the game & eat breakfast with a beer about 7 or 8 am depending on when in the season it is. Best part is going to be having all day to do stuff afterwards.

Used to be just wake up text the crew and meet at the bar. Back home now.
It's not as bad as you think. But you need to at least make a game away or home once a season if you can.

I does suck. There's too many trees around my house to get Direct TV, so I'm stuck watching the game on the computer most Sundays. I was thinking about buying a sling box and shipping it to my brothers.

Sorry for your upcoming separation.

On the good side.
1.Better bathrooms
2.More money for game day parties
3.No more DUI's on the way home
4.Best reason of all to buy the bigasfrick TV at best buy

While I always found the wins to be sweeter the loses were much more bitter in the dome.

I'm in P'cola and miss having season tickets. I hope to try and take the kiddos to a pre season game, maybe the raiders, for their first Saints experiance. At least I think I can afford it

When I lived on the West Coast, I would walk down to a local bar and enjoy the games on Sunday Ticket with a fellow New Orleanian, it helped that her B/F was the bartender. Now that I am on the east coast, if the game is on locally here I watch it from home and usually have my facebook page open and just enjoy all my friends' comments from back home. If the game is not on locally, I usually end up at a bar with Sunday Ticket.

It's not going to the Superdome good, but I live

When I was in Seattle this was awful. I had to get up early go to a bar (granted the saints were undefeated there) and watch the game with my friend who was watching his browns so basically alone

You can't get a DUI in NOLA. Streets suck so bad I never go over 25 unless I'm on Carrollton

My thing is, not having friends who are interested. I do like watching saints games alone, but I also like it as a social experience

It's nice to have options and not a routine

I can watch it here, there, I can go

In Austin my living room is pretty much my only option

It sucks knowing I can't really get to a game in the dome at the drop of a hat. Helps having other football fans and a huge flat screen.

Cherish your days in NOLA. I live in Spokane and it's pretty awful being so far from the Saints. No radio or local coverage, no fellow Who Dats to watch the game with and no Saints gear anywhere. It's just me and my family surrounded by millions of Seahawks fans.

However, thanks to the internet, life is bearable. Sites like this, apps like Tune In radio and DirecTV Sunday Ticket means I watch every single snap and stay connected to the fan base.

Plus, the fact that games start at 10:00 am is a nice bonus for people like me that get up early. I slap on my DB9 jersey and start grilling and smoking meat at 6 in the morning.

After the game I use my smartphone to check out the WWL postgame show and listen to commentary and locker room interviews, so honestly, technology has made being a fan bearable these days. But yeah, only making it to the Dome once a year and maybe catching the random Saints road game in Seattle or Denver sucks pretty hard.
