Just throwing out a nearly impossible idea...
Trade Jimmy Graham for for an earlier first round pick (around 8-15) and a pick from one of the later rounds, and with the first round pick we draft Eric Ebron. This would be magical, I see a lot of potential in Eric Ebron.

I feel like we could get Ebron with that early first rounder and the Odell Beckham or Brandin Cooks with our later first round pick

Looks good on paper, but rookies are far from a sure thing. I'd prefer to just lock up the guy who may end up being the most dominant TE of all time.

Yup.

And this exact idea has been brought up dozens of times in dozens of threads already.

What we really need to do is trade Graham to Cleveland for Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron.

Lets add fuel to the ongoing fire from the past month

quote:

NFL.com's Mike Silver reports it was Raiders owner Mark Davis who nixed the Rodger Saffold deal. Davis apparently had concerns about the shoulder Saffold injured last preseason. Per Silver, Saffold "could have had surgery and been ready for training camp," but Davis wouldn't have it. It's a troubling development for many reasons. It shows a lack of faith in GM Reggie McKenzie, and is an indication that, despite his protestations to the contrary, Davis has some of his father's management style to him. Davis has left egg on his GM's face, and his offensive line without a left tackle. It's a sad state of affairs in Oakland.

Al Davis is dead, but surely his son is the same!

2 oakland 1st rounders for jimmy!

We could end up getting #5 this year and #1 next! wooo

Just draft Colt Lyerla in the 6th rd. Throw a little cash to the local police to look the other way when/if he gets his nose dirty.

Graham's value will never be higher than right now. It'd be an abysmally bad PR move though
