You are right. His salary is the cause of having 0 play makers on the team, which is then causing the Saints to have an exorbitant amount of 3 and outs.

For everyone blaming the offense, what if I told you most of those 300 yards were in the first couple of drives when the the defense shouldn't be tired?

You can't gain most of 300 yards in a "couple" drives. Also, yards don't mean a damn thing. 2 forced turnovers in those drives do mean something. The offense is not giving the defense any help whatsoever. Yards do not equal points. Ever.

A couple is 2. Total possible yards after a couple possessions is 200.
Stick with me here.
Average drive starting position is 25. Total of 75 yards per drive. Multiply that by 2... 150. If 150 = most, then yes, they gained most of their yards on the first couple drives.
No one said this defense was good. They're playing well enough to give this team the lead. It is on the offense today.
