Richard Cooper went from DE to Saints starting LT for several years. Roy Green went from CB to All Pro WR in the 80s. Troy Brown played on both sides at the end of his career.

Why would anyone down vote this?

Cooper was a right tackle and gave up many sacks/pressures

Cooper wasn't the best tackle in the NFL, but the made a 9-10 year career at he highest level of football. He also started for two teams in that process. Also, all we had was Dombrowski on that o-line for years. That's why we all rejoiced when the front office finally selected one in Roaf. In hindsight, Cooper should have been lining up at right tackle.
