Meanwhile, the Patriots and Brady/Belichik have reloaded for like the 4th time of their tenure.

Just shows that Payton and Brees don't belong in the same sentence.

Wait...now it's the defense. Bring facts when you say end of an era. You said it was Payton/Brees in September, the team has battled to 4-4 facing the 3rd hardest schedule in first half of the season. Was this sunday a win? Style points gets you nowhere in this league, the final score does.

That shitshow of a defense is doing the 3 things it needs to be doing, getting off the field on 3rd downs #4 in the NFL at 32%, pressuring the qb with 19 sacks and pressures relates to turnovers. Who gives a frick on the yardage.

You sir are a total POS. Let me guess, you are investing in the Patriots, Panthers, Broncos, and Bengals. I bet you invested in the Saints in 2009 didn't you? I don't care if it is 10-9 or 52-49, in the NFL a win is a win.

Dude, you don't know me...WTF...its just frickin football. Some of you take this shite too serious.

I sat in Tulane Stadium my whole childhood and watched the Saints get the shite beat out of them forever. So, I sure as frick enjoyed '09. Never thought it could happen. But, you know what, this roster ain't winning the Super Bowl, imo.

And the reason I used the term "Payton / Brees era", is because everyone recognizes those two men are mostly responsible for the Saints winning a championship. However, all good things come to an end at some point.

If the team somehow does the unthinkable and makes a wild card playoff run to another championship, I'll enjoy that too. Don't see it happening. Doesn't mean I don't want it to.

This mainly started as a troll thread, which doesn't take much effort these days with all the sandy pussies around here.

Oh, by the way...you sir are a total a-hole. See how that works.

You took time out of your day to try and "troll" others, but you think other people are the pussies.

Really, you're just pathetic

Just bring logic to the table my friend. You don't, your posting history also proves that. You know for a fact that this team doesn't have the roster, I'm sure you thought the same thing when the Giants sneaked in the playoffs on both of there runs to winning the SuperBowl.

You can't win a SuperBowl in September and October. This years roster is young and all of a sudden you seem them starting to come together but you saw that on September 20th, 2015.

Simply put, yes. I do see very close similarities between Brees and Montana. Both seemed to have great leadership in tight situations. How many times have we seen Brees never give up on a play and just flick the ball to someone for a gainer?

I will say that Joe had some great talent surrounding him. Jerry Rice was unequivocally the best WR in the history of the game. Give someone close to that to Brees and he'll surely surpass Joe.
