I wouldn't be so quick to talk shite with all the turnover the falcons have to deal with this season. Especially at the head coaching position. From the rumblings in camp, they are looking pretty sloppy up to this point. Ryan trying to adjust his game to the new system hasn't been exactly smooth either. Falcons finishing 3rd in the division would be about where I have them ranked. Possibly 2nd if the Panthers regress any.

The Saints win one ring (years ago) and y'all act like you're the 49ers or some shite. Thank god your window is finally slammed shut. The Saints will be nice and comfortable rooming with the Bucs in the NFC south basement.

I can't even take you serious after this garbage.

For the record, I never said the Falcons would win the Super Bowl this year. I'm objective and realize that the team isn't there yet. I'm guessing a record of 9-7 to 10-6 is likely. 1st or 2nd in the division with an early playoff exit if they make it.

I can confidently say that the Falcons WILL finish above the Saints for the foreseeable future. Especially once Sean leaves/gets fired (scapegoated).

Hope y'all enjoyed the Saints run of success. I'm guessing the paper bags come back out around 2017/2018. Mark that down!

I'll be bumping this thread in late December after Atlanta sweeps "dat" arse again.

Culture - New Orleans easily, Atlanta doesn't have a *really* identifiable culture

Shopping - Atlanta easily, from all of the marts downtown to Lenox/Phipps, big city shopping in Atl

Restaurants - New Orleans gets talked about A LOT, but I'm going with Atlanta as a major restaurant secret...there are a ton of really fabulous restaurants in Atlanta with famous chefs, and more fine dining

Economy - Atlanta for sure, even though it's bad right now, NOLA corruption scared their good economy away in the 80s and they have never recovered and NOLA is too reliant on tourists (which if
Atlanta had that kind of tourism, the Atl restaurant scene would be more highly ranked)

Quality of Life - Atlanta, why do you think over a million people relocate a decade?

Housing costs - New Orleans, intown Atlanta in a nice neighborhood is not actually cheap, but NOLA is

Public Transportation - Atlanta for its extensiveness, heavy rail, and ridership, but NOLA does deserve an honorable mention even though its system serves tourists at least as much as residents

Nightlife - NOLA hands down, but it's certainly not my type of nightlife; I think the French Quarter is gross, Atlanta has a few large clubs that put anything in NOLA to shame, but Atlanta can't compete on the bar scene

Art galleries - NOLA; Atl is lacking heavily on the art scene for sure for a city its size

Weather - NOLA; Atl gets every bit as cold as northern cities and doesn't get snow

Parks - Atlanta for sure (Piedmont, Chastain, Centennial Olympic, Candler, Stone Mountain, Kennesaw Mountain)

Music scene - Tie here, depends on what you like

Education -Atlanta for sure. I think Atl is a much more highly educated city (Tech, Emory, GSU, Oglethorpe, Kennesaw, Morehouse, etc etc)

Lifestyle - NOLA, I prefer an urban lifestyle and Atlanta's comes in bouts and pieces but NOLA's is more consistently urban

For the categories Atlanta "wins" in, I would choose Atlanta. I also think Atlanta is pretty close in the categories it "loses" in, but NOLA isn't always close in those it "loses" in.

A couple of categories you forgot to mention:

Crime: This alone would keep me out of New Orleans

Cleanliness: This alone would keep me out of New Orleans

Character: Toss up here, Atlanta has some really charming areas, but NOLA is definitely full of it

Skyline: This category could start a war, but Atlanta would win hands down

Tourism: NOLA can't even be compared to Atlanta in this category it's so far ahead

Sports: The Saints have quite a following, but prior to Drew Brees they were even more fair weather than Atlanta fans, and Atlanta at least has 4 professional teams, so Atl wins

Scenery: Atlanta hands down, even without a waterfront; the muddy Mississippi is ugly to me (I grew up on blue water so that has an influence)

Location: Atlanta because it's centrally located and because it won't get hit by a hurricane (not taking a shot)

Trade: New Orleans for obvious reasons here

Airport: Atlanta for obvious reasons here

History: New Orleans for obvious reasons here

quite the subjective post on your perspective of ATL v/s New Orleans in a win/lose column. I've lived in Atlanta the last 20 yrs (thanks to the wifey) and yea I like it but wouldn't trade anything for the prior 20 born and raised in New Orleans. Okay Atl win's shopping - if that's your thing - and economy - as for as opportunities go. Education and crime are a toss up. NOLA tops the rest. Airport here does fly just about anywhere and I've travelled a lot of places in this world but there's still nothing like that New Orleans/South Louisiana culture and good time.. oh yea and fok the falcons!

The Falcons are one of the few NFL franchises to never have won the Super Bowl. The New Orleans Saints are the undisputed World Champions for the 2009 season. I find it strange that you would come here to pick a fight, given the fact that your Falcons have completely failed to achieve what the Saints have achieved. Quite illogical, you are. Your petty jealousy and insecurity WRT your manhood and the sexual preferences of your mother have clouded your ability to reason. When the Falcons win the SB, come back and talk. Until then GTFO.

Don't live so much in the past, Bear Bryant.
Just try and beat us this year.

I can't take you seriously if you think the weather in NOLA is better than Atlanta. Sure it gets cold here. For about 2 days, then back to normal. Spring and falls are better. Summers here are much better. Dumb northerners think Atlanta is humid because they haven't been to South Louisiana.

Uh. No. Saints fans were fans when they were terrible for most of their history. They complain as bad as LSU fans, but they have always been fans.

Falcons fans are not fair weather. There just aren't that many because of the millions of Cowboys, Steelers, Bears, Saints and Giants fans. The tired, poor and huddled masses all who moved here from those places. I wonder why?

Neither Saints or Falcons will do squat this year.
