His NT's in Cleveland and Oakland were Ted Washington, Terell Sands, and Shaun Rogers. Again, I think you don't know what you are talking about.
He inherited Sapp, Washington, and Rogers of them first and foremost(not sure on Sands).

Second, he ran 4-3 in Oakland and in most 4-3s you have one NT and one 3 tech. Washington was the NT and Sapp was the 3 tech.

In Cleveland he moved Rogers to DE.

But if he likes his NT's to be more interior pass rushers than run stoppers, why would he move Rogers to DE?lol These things you are saying contradict each other. So by what you are saying, he like NT's who can get to the qb, but moved one of the special breed of NT's who can actually do that out to DE?

Sands was brought in after, not inherited, which again, doesn't fit your idea of what Ryan wants.

No I'm explaining why you are wrong about Washington and Rogers being these mammoth NTs in his 3-4 scheme. One he didn't even use in a 3-4 and the other didn't even play NT.

Like I said, once the season starts we'll see what happens, but my money is on Bunkley getting most of the snaps at NT.

It was also a 4-3 scheme like I said. In a 4-3 you usually have one big NT and a 3 tech DT(Spags is one of the few DCs that uses 2 3 techs).

Whatever he did in Oakland is pretty irrelevant to what he'll do here. Look at what he did in Cleveland and Dallas and you'll get a good indication of what he'll do here.

That's not true either. It's pretty rare for teams to have huge DT's in a 4-3. Teams who do this are again, the exception to the rule, like the Vikings had with the Williams boys. It also is so rare that it gets pointed out when a 4-3 team lists someone at NT, like Bunkley with the Broncos. I've been saying for years that more teams who run the 4-3 should do this. Seems like you like to take things that are rare, and act like it's the norm.

More teams don't use a really big NT because the ones that are good are rare. This is also why a lot of teams don't run a 3-4.

But in practice (whether it's outright listed or not) most 4-3 bases use a NT(whether he's huge or not he still tries to take a center and guard) and a 3 tech(one on one with the other guard). Again if you don't believe me do some research. I'm not pulling this out of my arse because I actually have researched this stuff a great deal.

If I get time I'll post links about everything we've been discussing.

Edit:
I'll also say this is why Ellis was full of it when saying he sucked because he was always double teamed. He was our 3 tech not our NT. And we've tried pairing him with a bunch of NTs but fact is Ellis just sucked.
