Hey guys. I think that the Saints should draft a quarterback in the first round. I think that we should trade up and get that guy from West Virginia. We can probably just trade away our next 3 1st round picks and draft him at number 1. Drew is getting old and that guy is a legit QB. He could also learn so much as Brees' backup and we could use him in the wildcat.

LMAO im sorry but i could only hold a straight face for so long HAHA

What position do yall guys think that we need to pick up in the 1st round the most?

Seems legit.

I am absolutely dead serious when I say I would be willing to spend our 3rd (or 2nd if we got it, but we aren't) on Barkley if he tanks that much. I just have a feeling he will be good. I know I'll get shite for this, but I just know. The guy knows football.. The issues he had this year are a USC problem, not a Barkley problem. If we drafted him to sit under Drew for 5 years, he could be the next Rodgers.

I'd be happy with drafting anyone on the defensive side with our #1 pick

I don't see why people are hating on him so much, honestly he had a pretty good year. 36td/15ints with a know a handful being his receivers' fault. he can read defences and make some adjustments, I don't think he'll be a hall-of-famer, but we've seen weirder things happen at the QB position.

If its one thing I learned from reading Drew Brees' book, it's that he is paranoid about losing his starting position to his backup, thanks to his experience in San Diego.

It seems counter to his character, but he really has little interest in educating a successor if he suspects the kid has the talent to unseat him. He will not do it.

Drafting a QB in the early rounds will mess with Drew's head. Do we really want that?

If you don't believe me, read the book. He clearly states, "Never let your backup see the field."

I think Tyler Wilson will be a solid pick up for the Saints. He will probably be the 3rd QB taken. I say third round

I'd love Tyler Wilson behind Drew but I imagine one of the QB needy teams will be all over him.
