I grew up with the Saints during ALL of the bad years. I would have NEVER thought they could have won a playoff game, much less, the Superbowl! He deserves to retire a Saint!

I know. I'll always have love for Aaron Brooks for winning that first playoff game.

I love Brees, but that's not the business climate of today's NFL.

I agree with the OP.

Drew Brees is the best player the saints will ever have the privilege of knowing and employing. He brought New Orleans to the promised land and immortal glory in a Super Bowl championship and broke records that nobody ever thought would be broken.

He's a once in a generation player that deserves the repect of ending his career in New Orleans.

If Drew Brees has another off year he will be shipped off, might as well accept it.

In on this all fricken day long. I actually went to two of the games in Tiger Stadium after Katrina and watched that shite show but was there til the last second ticked. Drew deserves to retire here and I say we ride it out until the wheels fall off. Wanna see that black and gold uniform when he gets inducted into the hall of fame.

If Montana can't retire as a 49er or Manning as a Bronco no one can, nature of the NFL and why it's the most popular league going right now.

I hope Brees never plays for any other team, but for those who think replacing him would be as simple as trading up in a draft, take a look at what's happening in Chicago.

It's soooooo easy to find a new franchise QB that they've announced they are sticking with the guy they (and their fans) clearly hate.
