Some people are saying Drew needs to pick:

Saints or Walk-On's

Yeah there's no way he can be both a football player and have an interest in a business opening. Impossible.

Better question is why he put his name on their brand immediately after they were cited for discrimination in New Orleans?

Seems like a fair question to me. Tough to prioritize football with so much going on in JJ and walk ons adventures

My pastor has been very encouraging when it comes to discrimination issues in New Orleans. He says that people should have the right to pick whom they want to treat as equal.

Looks like he's actually doing a good job targeting already-fat people

No way he can fully concentrate on football during the season. With so much money at steak his attention will be divided between football, jimmy johns and walk ons. Not to mention his ridiculously large family

First off, it's not up to you to worry about what he does or does not concentrate on.

Second, were you on the Ice Gators at any point?

Third, he does have a large family. Phillip Rivers has like 9 kids and does just fine. His job is not to please icegator337's idea of what a professional QB is supposed to be. He's gonna keep throwing for 5K, 30+ TD's and not one problem he has will be from which Walk-On's location is lacking appetizer sales for the month.

Thank you...

People will find the most ridiculous things to critique.

I mean, he led the league in passing last year as a restauranteer.

Yep, until Drew is in the kitchen of one of these restaurants on the weekend running tickets instead of practicing...

I think he'll be okay

first, I no its not his job to worry about what I think, just making a observation.

second, yes from 2011-2014

third, if Philip Rivers is our standard of excellence then we're screwed. I want someone who will totally immerse themselves in to becoming the best QB possible, a la Peyton Manning. Can he still perform satisfactorily with so much outside noise? Of course, but can he perform at a level that can maximize our potential? I'm doubtful

Tom Brady wouldn't even look at something that greasy. I want Drew to be looking for that extra 2 mph we could use on his passes, not becoming a fatass

Phillip Rivers is not the standard, merely an example. Peyton Manning likes Papa Johns and Budweiser, no? I'm pretty sure he's invested in both companies.

To answer your question about performing to a level that maximizes the potential... are you kidding me? No way am I reading this correctly. Someone please help this man.

(BTW I think it's cool you were an Ice Gator. Your opinion about Drew sucks arse though.)

This and the front office talking to draft picks before they are on the clock will be the demise of the entire franchise

Yup, no way he can be an elite QB and eat. He needs to pick.

Drew Brees is in better shape than maybe every QB in the league if not 90% at least.

He's also one of the best athletes among all the QBs. He's a very good baseball player, can dunk a basketball and a scratch golfer.

Think he's okay to eat a burger every once in awhile.
