Did they really need to take one more shot at the organization

Haven't they made their point enough. The Saints coaches and GM have accepted their punishment and are almost done with serving their time.
This part was about the players only - leave it at that.
When Goodell turns this league over, it will be a devalued product.

Yeah, tag is largely responsible for the unprecedented success of the NFL. Goodell gets alot of praise but he has not added any value to the league. His legacy is meaningless suspensions to thugs, watering down the product, rule changes that have made the game less entertaining, and a having egg on his face after a failed year long witch hunt. He's just a fricking stooge

That was the only way it could have happened. Someone has to go down and they've decided it isn't going to be Goodell or the players.

Sadly, if you read through Tags' decision, you are left with the strong impression that Payton would not have been suspended by him (fined, but not suspended).

Nobody outside of New Orleans even cares about bounty gate anymore. It was off season banter for the media just like the potential lockout was last year.

Look the guy is a Dick Head no doubt but as far as the devalued product.....you will be able to thank lawyers for that.
With all the concussion shite coming down the fact is the lawyers will make this into a glorified touch football game.
Its amazing that they dont realize and or care that BIG HITS are what sells this league.
Oh and College Football wont be far behind.

And maybe his biggest legacy - countless law suits brought by former and current players, which will challenge the fiscal health of the NFL.
Way to go Roger the Dodger....

Big mistake.
The new lawsuit will set precedent within the NFL and assholes like Goodell will fade away.
Bye bye, bitch!!!!
Thanks for tanking our season.

I want a new League with old rules and the Saints to leave the NFL for it.
