Did anyone catch CSP talking to Steve Smith after the game?

He appeared to be whispering in his ear. I would have loved to have heard what he was telling him.Perhaps quit being a douche?

I bet he told him that he is a great player and the Saints respect the hell out of him.

(Probably won't be a popular answer.)

Yeah, I doubt Smith would've kept listening if Payton was saying something negative

Probably told him since he's being wasted with an inaccurate QB like Cam, that he should finish his years out with the Saints.

Dude is a TPOS, but he'd be our TPOS so it would be different.

He's rough on the field, but a lot of guys are unapproachable when their mind is in the game. It's just the way it is. He's not a big guy, so there's a little bit of self-psychology that goes into running those routes against guys bigger than you. I used to love slot receivers coming into my area of the field, almost always got to put a shot on them if the ball was still in the pocket and it was fun making them fly.

they probably haven't spoken or seen each other since they last played each in 2011.

it was just a mini reunion.
