Do you think they will be broken anytime soon (like in the next 8 or 9 years)?

Rushing Yards - 6,096 (franchise record)
Rushing Touchdowns - 49 (franchise record)
Rushing Attempts - 1,429 (franchise record)
Rushing YPC - 4.3 (franchise record)

Yeah sadly the Saints get a lot of the idiotic LSU fan spillover. And I say that as an LSU fan.

Deuce went to Ole Miss and we had Ricky Williams at RB when we drafted Deuce. I kinda hated him because of where he went and that we picked a RB when we had one on the roster already. Over time he became one of my favorite players. If Ingram starts breaking records, I'll start liking him too.

Deuce also held out and then fumbled the first time he touched the ball (muffed punt). Bad start but it turned out well.

Ingram:
Rushing Yards - 3,195
Rushing Touchdowns - 26
Rushing Attempts - 748
Rushing YPC - 4.3

Duece did his work over 97 games (76 starts) and only had 4 seasons over 1k in his 8-year career. Ingram going into year 6, but if he stays till 30 then I think he breaks all of those records.

Amen.

The great thing about the Saints fan base is that it covers a lot more ground geographically than most fan bases.

It covers all of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, as well as Southern Arkansas, East Texas and the Florida Panhandle.

I don't see many Saint fans in the Florida panhandle nor do I see any Saints merchandise. Saints merchandise is all over Mississippi and Alabama though.

Lots of coonasses boat and vacation in Florida, but the locals (for the most part) aren't saints fans.

The Ingram hate has nothing to do with the LSU-Bama rivalry IMO. Sure it's fun to talk about at first, but Deuce was from Ole Miss at a time when LSU-Ole Miss was pretty damn heated.

The Ingram hate is the embodiment of a lot of us being frustrated with the Front Office's overall theory and philosophy regarding trading up in the draft. Not that Ingram deserves that hate, but he basically emodies a lot of our frustration with those continual moves.

That and he's never been close to the player Deuce was. IDGAF how many yards Ingram ends up with, I'll never consider him Deuce's equal.

It may be more divided in the Panhandle, sure, but when polled, the majority of NFL fans from Pensacola to Panama City are Saints fans.

I agree with a lot of your post, but this board melted down on 1/9 when Ingram was on the sidelines cheering Bama on. It might not be where all of the hate comes from but it's definitely part of it for a lot of Saints fans.

I'm a 10 year season ticket holder. A non-scientific poll but I see a bunch of Escambia, Bay, Okaloosa & Walton County license plates on every game day coming in and out of NOLA.

I spend a couple of weeks a year in Perdido and the locals there are decisively Saints fans.

Facebook-derived map, sorry but....

In all fairness, he came from a school that many in this fanbase hate, he had played in 36 of 48 games at that point, rushed for 500, 600 and 400 yards the previous 3 years, had 11 total TDs (only 1 TD in 2013), was the reason we traded away a fan favorite in Chris Ivory, was a player we traded up for but didn't really love up to being that high a draft pick and had never shown 1/16 the emotion for the saints that he did on his alma mater's sideline.

He's done a little better since then, but he hadn't given ANY Saints fan any reason to like him at that point.

That map is wrong. Shreveport should be Dallas blue.

If I'm being honest, Ingram isn't in the same class as McAllister...not even close, IMO.
