Trump is fat. Trump is a draft dodger. Trump accosts women. Trump is a liar. Trump is a tax cheat. Trump is a loser.

And we drafted Project Peat at 1-13 who continues to get beaten like a drum!!

That was set up by him and his agent. I would have called his bluff and drafted him in the 7th round.
The agent said that he would not sign with any team after the first or second round. He would sit the year.
On May 7, 2015, Collins signed as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys. His entire three-year contract was guaranteed and worth $1,599,000 with a $21,000 signing bonus.
Obviously not the average undrafted contract.

He would be the 4th best tackle on the roster. He's terrible at tackle. Needs to be moved back to guard

He has struggled at RT from time to time. Collins played LT in college and high school. The Cowboys moved him to LG to compete for playing time. He got hurt last year and sat and this year they moved him to RT. The Cowboys all pro LT has struggled at times so please allow Collins to adjust before you critique him. How are you at your job? Is there any area you need to improve? Perhaps your superiors should move you to a new position and demand you to do the work and if you make a mistake then they should show you the door with your pink slip. There is always one critiquing others when they themselves are perfect.

so wait. A Starting OL with 3 years NFL experience needs more time before we can judge his play
but Project Peat was labeled a bust after 3 games
I guess standards are higher when you are actually drafted.

It's shocking that people like you can be this stupid. As if "our own backyard" makes any difference at all if a player can actually choose where they want to go.
He grew up a die-hard Cowboys fan and had a chance to play for them, making the same money he would for any of the 31 other clubs. He was never coming here.
Time to seriously move on.

Based on play I am not sure how Collins is the consistent LSU Champion for missed Saint draft opportunity. He has been fairly average as a NFL player since entering the league and that is being pretty modest. Collins would not start on this team over Armstead, not over Unger, not over Warford, Not over Strief or Ram at RT, and personally I wouldn't take him at LG over Peat.
To be honest he would even have some difficulty beating out Kelemete who is actually a pretty solid backup Guard.
If we are going to ignore facts, reasons behind draft falls, PR situations...I am pretty sure Mathieu especially being a proven NFL commodity should take this spot in Faux outrage of missed opportunity.

Through 3 weeks, #Cowboys RT La'el Collins is PFF's No. 69-rated Offensive Tackle among 72 qualifiers. He struggled in preseason as well.
