Could the Saints use Les Miles as OL coach?

Nobody in college football seems to want him, at least not as head coach. I think it's obvious to everyone he can longer perform that job effectively. But as a former OL and OL coach for years he may be a good fit. He has coached OL at Colorado and Michigan and had very good lines at both places. Could he turn our line around? I know many will flip out just at the thought of it, but thinking outside the box, couldn't this work?

He would certainly clean up the handling of time outs.

1. Les I don't believe has ever been regarded as an elite position coach.

2. Les wasn't very good at getting an elite college program's OL to block against scattered NFL talent at the college level when he could recruit anyone in the nation to play for him.

3. OL play on this team has been pretty solid considering what we have had to work with all season and our lack of depth at the position.

I agree. Coaching isn't the problem. We've been banged up, we're playing guys that are on the wrong side of age 30, & our only dependable backup is Kelemete. All things considered...we've done a good job with the hand we've been dealt.

Nah that sounds pretty ridiculous. If there is a spot on the Saints for Les, it's as OL coach.

Hell no....the LSU O-Line started playing markedly better after Les was canned. Looks like he was meddling in that as well. And that's a guy that played O-Line in college. Pretty sad and that's why he can't find a power 5 job.

You got this freaking thread and then at the top of the page you got the "Saints have the best OLine according to STATS" thread.

You people are the embodiment of bipolarism.
