What's the story on this guy? My buddy has been at Camp and said he looks really good catching passes from Drew. Is he the next Lance Moore?

He's the new Brandon Coleman. Lot of potential. But we are just keeping him around so we can sign his brother Kyle next year.

We were out there yesterday. The guy didn't drop a pass thrown his way. He's got blazing speed I did not realize he had.

Former lions WR. Played for VT. Drafted in the 6th. Great measurables: 6'2, 200 lb. 4.34 40 yd at the combine.

He caught a game winning Td against us a few years ago

He could be a late bloomer after not developing & adjusting to the NFL with the Lions. He comes from a family that produces NFL players.

Not even close. Lance Moore was 5'9 while Fuller is 6'2. That's a huge difference in height alone. What is intriguing about Fuller so far is his ability to high point the deep ball. A receiver has to have really good hands, faith in his catching ability & good body control to make those type of catches.

Since Brees has been in New Orleans, he hasn't had the type of wide receiver with size, speed & the ability to high point passes on a regular basis. Meachem & Henderson were straight line burners. Meachem had the height but Devery didn't. They could get behind corners with their speed but they weren't going to leap & out battle a corner for a ball. Ted Ginn falls in the same category as these two except Ginn has more shake/wiggle to make defenders miss in the open field than both Henderson & Meachem had.

Colston was a possession type receiver who could do this in the red zone but outside of his red zone seam work, he didn't do it much at all. Same goes for Moore. MT is a better version of Colston which says a lot about his ability. Snead is a tough version of Moore but he isn't going to burn corners down field either. You can say Jimmy Graham provided this aspect to the offense but he did it as a TE primarily winning matchups against safeties & LBs.

No. Nothing at all like Lance.

Yea he's 6'2" and I think he is surprising the coverage for now.

Ginn is a vet and will show just enough in preseason games to stick.

Also I don't see anyone behind Fuller and Coleman that would move him out completely.

I don't mean this year. Fuller's main part of his contract does not kick in until next year, think he makes like $70 this year and bulk next year.

I seem to remember hearing that name when watching college football. Must have been pretty productive for Virginia Tech.

From this morning's practice

Ted Ginn bobbled one and another was overthrown, but he created insane separation on both of his reps.

Watching Fuller and Coleman, looks like we're very solid @ WR.

Its curious to me that Fuller is doing so well, but he couldn't catch on in Detroit. Maybe its just one of those things with better coaching and different atmosphere.

Coleman has improved each year, he has also looked more confident each year. He was super raw and he's looking at being a wr 3/4 on a potent passing offense. We were very patient with him and hopefully it pays off.

Interesting enough he had a better 2015 season than 2016.
