Cooper Rush - Dallas back up QB

This kid is legit. Here are his stats this preseason:
At OAK: 12/13 115 yds, 2 TDs
At IND: 8/9 92 yds, 2 TDs
At LAR: 9/11 104 yds, 1 TD
At ARZ: 9/18 87 yds, 1 TD
How can the cowboys keep falling in to QBs, but Sean Payton and Loomis couldn't find one if their lives depended on it?

But it is saints related, everyone complains about our QB situation if Brees goes down. Believe it or not we are getting close to the end. SP needs to make a move soon, before we go back to the dark ages.

They had their minds on a couple of guys this year, but they both went way too high and they needed depth at other positions. Seeing what the Texans did to get Watson makes me appreciate the Saints not trading too much for a position of need.
Also, how is it fair to blame a team for missing a diamond in the rough like Cooper Rush? It's not like the Cowboys have two diamonds in the rough, it was pretty clear that Dak was a safe bet. Sometimes the rich get richer, deal with it.

Jerry Jones has already said they are not waiving Rush, because he's the clear number two. Maybe we can make a move in the offseason for him.

I would be lying if I said know anything about this kid. He could be a footnote in preseason history...he could be the next Payton Manning. Either way, Cowboys are likely to get something for nothing if they play their cards right.

He was undrafted free agent that Dallas signed out of Central Michigan. Looks like they got a steal.

Preseason playing against scrubs. May find his way on to a roster at some point as a backup which still is doubtful. You guys put too much stock into Preseason and are trying to turn a camp arm into an All Pro.

No we're not QB deprived, but the backup situation has been pretty dire to say the least. I'm just worried about the future is all. Not looking forward to going back to the Jeff Blakes and Aaron Brooks of the world.
