Wanted to post a quick thread continuing my streak of manning up and taking my beatings.
1) Congrats on going 2-0 this season and in pretty convincing fashion. I didn't even think game 1 was that close and had no clue how it even got to OT.
2) Congrats to Drew Brees for breaking the record. Getting wrecked hurts. Getting wrecked by a classy dude hurts... less... sorta.
3) I didn't mind the Saints going for the record when the game was clearly over. I'm actually suprised by the number of "unbiased" writers who even wrote articles crying about it.
The Saints throw the ball. That's what they've been known for, for years now. The Falcons know this. This is a rivalry game in the highest competition level of Football (NFL). If you don't like it - stop 'em. Simple as that. If you don't like that they took pictures on your logo, set a record on you, etc - stop 'em the next time. The Falcons simply haven't been able to do any of this - so they should grow up and take their beatings until they can stop 'em.
Anyways - congrats. Clearly the better team/organization right now is dominating this "rivalry"/series.

Like I said, I think you're a good poster on this site and you bring balance to it, no hard feelings at all.

To be fair, Matt Ryan actually impressed me last night.
Never thought that would happen.

Your good guy parade is wearing thin on me. You are a falcons fan. You suck at life. We don't like you. Stop using us because you seek intelligence from an NFL message board that your team can't provide. You make snide remarks at us for our behavior cause we are winners. We are super bowl winning fans, you wouldn't know anything about how to handle this type of success.

Nice, but you should've waited two weeks.
Then you could've saved yourself from the upcoming "Congrats on going 3-0 against us" man-up-status-post-3rd-beatdown-in-one-season thread.

I to will wave the white flag. I never doubted the Saints being the better team but I did believe the Falcons would pull off a victory.
Some of my thoughts after the game:
1. I was a skeptic of NO's run game entering and I'm not sure if ATLs defense is just really bad or No's running game is really good but man y'all sure could run the ball last night. I almost thought Brees was throwing too much based on how well y'all were running. Obviously Brees was throwing to get the record but if y'all had run a little more I dont think ATL would have even somewhat been in the game.
2. If you had told me Matt Ryan would play great and we would get blown out I would have laughed.
3. I think the main difference between the Falcons and Saints is that in the redzone, Saints score touchdowns, falcons kick FGs. Ya cant hang with the Saints kicking field goals.
4. Falcons were dreadful on 3rd down defense. Literally the worst I've ever seen.
It appears that barring some strange occurences we will be playing each other again. I know beating a team 3 times is tough but y'all should win easily. Congrats.

Check out this comment:

We will never be what the Saints are. They are a better franchise from top to bottom in every single way you can be. Ryan will never be Brees, Smith will never be Payton, and our fanbase will never be what the Saints fans are.
Watching that game last night I couldn't help but think, "Man, those people look like they have so much fun every Sunday." New Orleans is a city of rich culture and historical significance. Atlanta is Frankenstein, built with so many different parts from different places that any sense of culture has long since been diluted. New Orleans has a soul, an identity and those fans share a culture of celebration and togetherness. Meanwhile, we have a city full of ******* retards who still care about what color skin the person next to them has. Dressing up and chanting and generally just having a big party in the stands was really something to see.
I thought I couldn't be any more jealous of them after they won the Lombardi, but I was wrong. I'm jealous that this city and this franchise, as far as sports go, will NEVER be New Orleans.

Holy shite that's unbelievable. Can't believe that came from an Atlanta fan
