Is it time to clean house and move on? We could get some draft picks and start the rebuilding process. Is Benson in the state of mind to oversee a complete rebuild?

I don't think blow is hard enough for those two.

A great organization starts at the tip top with a competent owner. Benson got "lucky" with hiring Loomis who got lucky by hiring Payton. Loomis' shortfalls were masked by how great Payton was out the gate.

In this scenario it just so happened that Loomis and Payton like one another, because any other coach would have been strung out to dry and run out of town.

So, no, Benson is not capable to rebuild this team and unless we strike gold with a head coach and luck into the second coming of Peyton Manning in the draft, this franchise is going to be bad for a long time.

Which could mean Payton has told him that he's ready to get out, so Bill is making things happen....

I woke up wondering how everyone is still employed. Shocking.

It seems the sooner the Saints make a change the quicker the rebuild.

I agree, Benson nor his family is in position to rebuild the Saints. As long as they keeping making money little will change.

You think benson is complacent with losing, go frick off. He's been an exceptional owner over past 16 years or so. He's been hiring multiple DC's past several years, we've made a handful of personnel changes, paid a shite ton of contracts, and nor should he have ever FIRED payton or loomis... yet....

I agree with what you are saying. Benson has been a good owner, is he still involved with team on a day to day basis is my question.

I agree with this.

Payton and Parcells are buddies. Payton may have asked Parcells for help in moving on out of NOLA.

Looks to me like this is the final season of the Payton/Loomis/Brees Era in NOLA.

from all that we've heard, yes. I mean, we missed on some draft picks, dealt away and cut losses with some bad characters... i mean, that doesn't translate to there's no accountability. What you want, benson to get in front of a camera and act all demonstrative?
