Factoid of the Week That May Interest Only Me
This is either a sign that receiving stats have gotten out of sight, and comparing eras is useless, or a sign that Marques Colston is one of the most underappreciated players of this era:
Colston has 702 receptions in his 10-year career with the Saints as Drew Brees’ most consistent target. That is more receptions than 14 of 23 wide receivers in the Pro Football Hall of Fame who have played since 1950.
Colston has never played in a Pro Bowl.

About time someone outside of the New Orleans area recognizes what he has accomplished; even if he makes it a backhanded compliment.

I don't think it was a backhanded compliment

I think he was saying he should have made a pro bowl

And he deserves it. He's been producing solid results for a while now...

If either one of them played in a bigger market Drew Brees would have multiple MVPs and Colston would have at least one Pro Bowl if not more.
