The only knock on him is his size.
Anyone with a lick of football sense knew we were going defense. That Lynch talk was pure BS and everyone in the league knew it.
He's an upgrade to what we have now, if only because he's a different person.

Sheldon Rankings is the 2nd coming of Sedric Ellis. Sedric Ellis 6'1" and weighed 307, Sheldon Rankings 6'1" and weigh 299. I hope they bulk him up because the physical play along the line of scrimmage will take a toll on his body. I hope he plays similar to Aaron Donald.

Atkins and Donald are the same size as rankins. The size isn't like the norm, but it doesn't everything.

Ellis could have been good. He had a good season in 09. His problem is that he didn't give a shite about football once he got paid. Rankins supposedly has a great character and is devoted to the game.

Well shite you compared their height and weight, they clearly are the exact same player then!
They don't need to bulk him up, he can rotate with Fairley which is how he has been most effective as well.

Ellis always had the rep of taking plays off, this guy never does.

We weren't the only ones with doubts. Teams need to hit on their #1 picks so any red flags will make a guy who is extremely talented drop. It could be medical, character, or inability to protect ur social media accts.
This guy is definitely in the Cam Jordan/Wil Smith mold. Not the highest of ceiling but extremely high floor like someone else said.

what if he is the second coming of Anthony McFarland or Leroy Glover? It is just as easy to find a guy with similar height and weight that did succeed.
