re: Cardinals beat writer says Michael Floyd is on blockPosted by bonethug0108 on 5/1/15 at 6:54 pm to Lester Earl
The guy said the last two years, not over his entire career. And Palmer has played pretty damn solid for the cards. Age not being a factor(say I had one year to build a team) I'd take him over a lot of those other guys. Maybe not top 10 but possible top 12-14.
And don't confuse middle of the pack play with what's thought of as average qb play. He has been more than solid.
And solid is much better than poor. Which is what the poster I was responding to was claiming Floyd had the last two years. Not over his career.
Edit:
Actually looking back at the list you posted he might be top 10(barely). I'd definitely take him over Eli, Tannehill, maybe Flacco and a few others age not being a factor.

He has stone hands
what?
He's had just 5 drops each of his first 3 seasons in the NFL and he saw 281 targets. That drop rate over the last 3 years puts him near the top of the entire NFL.
He has the complete opposite of stone hands

at this point I'd be definitely down with giving the 2nd 3rd for him
