I wouldn't go that far. He's best of screens. He doesn't quite have the vision on running plays.

He's not terrible but he's also not very good

He's more of a receiver than rb even with his suez but we are loaded there

Pierre is the best screen back in the game. Cadet doesnt do anything special that can't be done by our other backs and he can't do anything as well as the others.

That explains why they are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd string and he's 4th

Exactly. I wouldn't expect him to be a perennial pro-bowler, but I wouldn't really say he's garbage.

Someone would have to bring something to the team that he can't to take his roster spot.

Not every Saints player is going to be a superstar. He is a role player. Give some of these guys a freaking break.

I'll be honest I've been very down on him but he actually showed better vision tonight. Still no burst and should have had 20+ yards on that 11 yarder, but he still made a couple of good moves on a few runs.

And yes he can catch the ball but he never does shite after the catch. His screen game is about as good as Sproles, which is to say not that good.

We could do worse for a 4th HB, but we could also do better.

I'm glad he finally showed SOMETHING in the run game, but he clearly just doesn't have "it".

And I have to say, Robinson hasn't been impressing much either. I know he hasn't been getting much room, but his isn't breaking tackles like he was last year. He's had a couple all preseason but he doesn't seem to be the same.

Ingram has looked incredible when given running room. The burst and vision is vastly improved.

PT is still PT and still the fricking man. Can't believe the amount of people who were writing him off. This guy does it all. So glad they made the right call between him and Sproles.

He looks pretty average...that's for sure. Unless things change drastically, Cadet won't make people forget about Sproles anytime soon.

Never could catch onto the Cadet hype. Hes not the fastest(cooks/Morgan) he doesn't have very good vision( Ingram/ Robinson) not the greatest screen game (Thomas). We have players that fill all of those roles so why do we keep him around?? Although I think I remember reading CSP was very high on cadet but that may have been last year. But I do agree with some, hes a decent backup that is taking up a valuable roster spot.
