Do birds even have knees?
Isn't it just little legs without the bend?

Okay, Brees is the greatest free agent signing in the history of the NFL. But dayum, after him it has all downhill. I even bought a Byrd jersey thinking he might be the missing piece. I'm starting to think it's best to 3-4 key components and trade everyone else with one year left on their rookie deals. I'm seeing that more n more as the Patriots success in this era of the cap.

0-2 on prematurely balding safeties.

Yup and thats why our draft has killed us. Draft picks are cheap players ballin out to get that big contract. We dump our picks or...there just dumps.
I hope 2016 draft is as good as 2015 was.

Byrd's injuries have made him a "bust", but I really think that he's played well on the field. The problem is, he's being horribly misused. Byrd needs to be unleashed. Let him follow his instincts and force turnovers. He's a capable center fielder, but he needs to play somewhat closer to the line of scrimmage.
Seriously, he was one of the top 2 or 3 safeties in the NFL for ~5 years. He didn't forget how to play football, and his effort has been there. He's done a great job tackling when he has the opportunity. The defensive coordinator needs to put him in the position to succeed and get some INTs.

I am not one to wish injuries on anyone but it would not hurt my feelings if Browner got a minor injury that kept him out for 3-5 weeks.

He gone....often injured in Buffalo, and injured more here.

This is false

The problem with Byrd isn't mental, it's physical. He was never the most athletic guy on the planet, but he had Earl Thomas instincts. With the knee troubles sapping him of say 10 percent, he's just not athletic enough to do what he used to in Buffalo.
