The Lions safety said Friday he was fined for having black in his socks. The Detroit News reported the amount as $5,000.
How did he find out he had committed such an egregious crime?
"When you get the damn check," Delmas said.
Delmas said he wasn't told by Detroit's equipment staff that his attire was in discordance with the league's fashion policies.
In what some would call more meaningful news, Delmas didn't practice Friday for a second time this week. He's still expected to play Sunday against Washington.
His choice of sock is unknown.
