Management: Drew we are sending you to a contender.

Drew: What about my no trade clause?

Come on with this BS. Drew is out of here. He knows it. The saints know it. Try to figure out a way to get some compensation for him. Drew is my most favorite player ever, but it's time for him and the saints to move on.

As for Payton and Loomis, I have called for their firing 2 years ago and last year. The adrian peterson deal proves both are incapable of finding the right players to help the team.

It's time for a fire sale. Get rid of Vacarro, Breaux, Peterson, and move drew. Try to stockpile some draft picks. Have Chase start and dump the rest of the season.

Drew will try to win many games on his own, cause that's what he loves to do. We don't need that right now. We need to dump this season to try and rebuild. We need a smart GM to do the right thing next.

I think you're severely overestimating the value on anything we could get back right now for Drew.

He's 38 and on an expiring contract. His contract has a "no franchise tag" clause in it, which means any team that trades for him will have to get into an open market bidding war if they want to keep him for more than a partial season. Not to mention the time it'll take for Drew to learn a brand new offense midseason and develop chemistry.

ETA: With Loomis, the biggest mistake was for Benson to put him in charge of the Pelicans too. Ever since he's been responsible for being Dell Demps' boss, the Saints have gotten worse and worse, and he's had more and more bad draft choices.
