Is it as simple as short qb can't see short wr? McCown found him last week.

I wonder more about Coleman. WTF? If Drew is not going to throw his way bring up Seantavius Jones or put 5'10.5" WDF in to throw it to.

It's a question not a statement.

By that logic Lance Moore and Sproles shouldn't have ever done as well as they did while playing with Brees.

I think it's more that there aren't many WR1s that are short. They are valuable and can make an impact, but having that big target to throw to (like a younger colston, or that TE we used to have) opens things up for a smaller guy like Cooks.

cooks should be used as in the slot, reverses, in space plays, wr screen, coming out the back field, post patterns comeback routes. cj spiller needs to be used in the screen packages a lot more than mark ingram and used like they used reggie and Darren sproles was used.

It may be as simple as the short WR in question is not really any good. A guy suited to a 3rd wide receiver slot role is a first round bust.

He's not a bust. He would be a star on many other teams.

Declaring him a bust after what 10 games? Brees has barely had any time to throw with how poor the Oline has played.

CSP could be using cooks a bit differently though(ala desean jackson)
