refuses to even try to use that speed to breakway in the open field
So he would rather be caught from behind and tackled rather than not be touched or score?
Your being waaaay too obvious of a troll man

Not sure how much better Cooks can get honestly. The amount of contact teams get away with on him down field is frustrating to watch and disrupts the timing of his routes. I think his numbers can marginally improve but the biggest jump in production will be the holes he will create for everyone else. Fleener/Snead/Thomas should feast off man to man looks while Cooks pulls coverages with him.

You know Golden Tate? Tell him I said what's up!

Golden Tate is built almost exactly on the lines of Willie Snead. The two have similar games as well. Cooks is listed at 189 lbs while Tate is listed at 198. That almost 10 lbs difference makes for a different type of power/strength. If we see Cooks at more muscle, I'm sure his game would change to reflect his work in the gym.

Tate led WR in YAC in 2014, and was 5th last year. The former RB in him shows out.
Cooks was 13th. Good for a guy who falls down or goes out of bounds amirite
Snead was 17th

Cooks is a good player..... end of story.
We have other positions to worry about (e.g., OG,DE,OLB, etc.).

Think Cooks has 1500 yards this year....teams cant totally focus on him anymore with Thomas and Fleener on board.

I'm sure Tate had more targets as well. I'm talking about how Snead and Tate look physically on the field, they attack the ball similarly and both are physical after the catch. Numbers are not the entire store for any sport.

I'm not trying to knock Snead. He definitely fights for those extra yards. But YAC per reception favors Tate, too. Tate is a 4.4 guy, Snead is a 4.6 guy. Snead's numbers are still very impressive given his athletic limitations

Agreed that Snead is a good player, but he's limited. Honestly he won't repeat the same numbers he had last year if we're talking Fleener/Thomas/Spiller into the mix and Cooks being even more dangerous.

Cooks should benefit the most from the Fleener addition I think. Might require the safety to cover Fleener a little more instead of doubling up on Cooks.
I think Thomas could be a monster rookie this year too. If he can do some damage in the slot and Fleener is effective on some seam routes that should give Cooks a lot less coverage thrown at him.
