Let me preface this by asking for thoughts on the trades and other teams picks outside of what the Saints do. I pretty well know what posters want/think of what the Saints might/will do.

This is assuming that before the draft Revis remains untraded and the Fins get Albert for a 2nd rounder.

1)Chiefs- Joeckel
2)Jags- Jordan
3)Raiders- Lotulelei
4)Eagles- Smith
5)Lions- Milliner
6)Browns- Ansah
7)Cards- Fisher
8)Bills(Bucs would have traded to get Milliner here but now trade for Revis with their first rounder)- Floyd(would have been Cooper or Warmack with Bucs pick)
9)Jets- Mingo
10)Saints(trades with Titans to jump the Chargers)- Johnson
11)Chargers- Warmack
12)Fins- Rhodes
13)Jets(from Bucs)- Trufant
14)Vikings(from Panthers)- Austin
15)Titans(from Saints)- Cooper(who they would have picked at 10 any way)
16)Rams- Vaccaro
17)Steelers- Jones
18)Cowgirls- Fluker
19)Giants- Moore
20)Ravens(from Bears)- Patterson
21)Bengals- Cyprien
22)Rams- Allen
23)Panthers(from Vikings)- Richardson(traded back because no teams in between had a huge DT need)
24)Colts- Collins
25)Vikings- Hayden
26)Packers- Williams
27)Texans- Hopkins
28)Broncos- Werner
29)Pats- Patton
30)Failcons- Eifert
31)49ers- Elam or Lacy then the other with 34
32)Bears(from Ravens)- Olgetree

Since the Panthers trade back we have no shot at that, so if we stand pat because Johnson is gone before 10 expect Reid, Jones, Patterson(or whatever remaining WR they have rated highest), their highest rated CB, or their highest rated 3-4 end.

That's some weak arse shite right there. If we jump up for anyone besides Star Lotulelei I will be going to St. Aug's house to throw his remote through his television!

Especially since we could have stayed put and got Jarvis Jones.

It's somewhat possible that we could trade up to no. 10 for Johnson, but I don't see him falling that far. Making it past Detroit is one thing. Making it past Arizona is another. And San Diego or Miami not trading up with more ammo than us seems unlikely. Not impossible, but I can't really see it.

I agree with this. I could see all 3 tackles going VERY high.

I thought you were better than this. One of the big 3 LTs is the only thing that a trade up could be justified for.

Word is the Cards really like Fluker. And while what I've seen of all of their play gives me the impression that Johnson is more of a 3a than a second tier LT, some teams apparently don't.

Well in this scenario Fisher fell to the Cards and Miami traded for Albert pre-draft(if they don't you are dead right that they may trade up).

So San Diego would have to HIGHLY overpay to move up one spot to beat our offer(3rd and 5th plus a 1st round swap). They like Warmack enough to not overpay.

On Star, he is long gone so we have not shot at him.

Also very possible. I'm going with a combination of mocks, needs, and who visited where and word of mouth.

Some of this stuff could be misleading and without seeing each team's board every mock is a shot in the dark.

With Fisher falling to them they don't have to decide between Johnson and Fluker.

Either him or Milliner if he starts to slide.

No comments on what other teams are doing? I'm much more interested in what people think of the other picks as I've heard what everybody wants/expects from the Saints.

Anybody see too much of a reach or a trade they don't get?

We've been waiting for a defensive stud for so long...I would have a breakdown in Jones is there and we don't take him

And for those that feel iffy about trading up, if we can do our 4th + Ivory for the Jets' 3rd rounder (certainly possible), that third rounder is just about the value needed to go from 15 to 10, especially if the team at 10 knows they can get their guy at 15. Ivory + 4th + 15 for Johnson + ~$1m extra in cap space = frick yeah. There are going to be plenty of solid safeties and front 7 guys in the third available with our leftover third, but most of those mid round OT's in this draft are really RTs.

Word is Jordan is a lock to the Jags, and they really have no reason to hide what they're doing.

Seriously. If Jones is there and the Saints don't take him, it will blow my mind. Maybe if Mingo is also there and they take him, but if a stud OLB is there waiting to plug right into the new 3-4 and they pass?
