bone takes a hit before FA even begins, and Carolina got blindsided

There was talk of Atlanta pursue David Harris in FA but he just resigned with the Jets, taking away one of their best options to improve at LB.
And in news no one said coming Carolina picks up Blindside, a slightly less turnstile like LT than Bell.
Things are shaping up early.

The talk about the Falcons possibly wanting Harris was when they were interviewing Rex. My bad.

What happened exactly? all those teams sucked like we predicted. if we took care of business, we would have made the playoffs.

I agree, but my point is not to get our hopes up so early. Last year was pretty much like the 2007 season. High expectations after the most successful season pre-SB year in 2006 with crappy results. Not trying to be pessimistic here, but at the same time don't be surprised if we have another 7-9 season. That's pretty much all I am saying.

It took a ton of bad luck, injuries, and last minute losses for us to go 7-9 last season. I'd be surprised unless we lose Brees to injury or ignore oline
