What's a Saibts?

ETA: tanking is bullshite and it's pathetic. I would never wish that on my team. I hope we try our hardest and give thee rookies time to develop and a reason to fight. It'll payoff dividends in the years to come.

I'd love for us to dump a good veteran player for a young pick.

Too bad we don't have any

well, they paid Allen $11.5mil roster bonus at the start of the season. So they are pretty much following our formula, actually.

He's not really that good anymore so it's like us trading Jahri. Not much of a tank.

The only reason I would pull for the Saints to lose (tank) is if it meant we would be better and more competitive in the long run and no one can promise that, so I won't do it.

I was pulling like hell for the Falcons to lose last year to get a top pick. Ended up getting Beasley and a new coach out of it. Was well worth the shite season.

I think that the Falcons players did intentionally tank on some games last year.

They may do well this year. So far, it looks good for them.

But the road to winning the SB is long and fraught with peril.

Makes me wonder why the Saints aren't calling every team making offers on affordable pass rushers. Someone like Jared Allen could provide a spark to the defense and make some things come together. I think this is another sign of complacency from our staff.

There were reports 2 weeks ago that we were going after pass rushers and TEs.

The thing is, with another draft like the one we just had, we could start making big moves forward with talent.
