The New Orleans Saints are in "win-now" mode, according to a front office source. With the No. 11 pick, the team would love to see Alabama's Reuben Foster on the board, I've been told.
1. Cornerback Marlon Humphrey, Alabama
"Guys that fast and that physical go in the first round," said a scout.
Humphrey's tape isn't the best of the 2017 cornerback class, but his upside and traits are eye-opening. Teams like the New Orleans Saints or Tennessee Titans in the middle of the first round are likely targets for Humphrey. And as one rival scout told me, "don't rule out the Ravens with that Alabama connection."

Didn't he say that we liked Rankins and Thomas last year also? Well I mean shite when we knew that
11 will come down to Charlton, Reddick, Foster, Barnett, Mccaffery IMO.
Malik McDowell's my sleeper pick

do be fair, almost everyone was mocking Rankins to NO by the time the draft got here

Miller's already proven time and again he has no sources with the Saints. When has he ever been right about them?
And being right about stuff EVERYONE else was also guessing doesn't count.

Yeah he's just mocking guys to us that have already been mocked to us dozens of times over.
And Taco falls to round 2 now? I could see him falling from his previous near top 10 rankings, but not sure he drops that far.
Also Payton has said time and again year after year we are ALWAYS in a win now mode.
But he did also say this year specifically that maybe you break that ideal if the right QB is available.

As long as we keep #32, I could see it being more and more likely that 11 isn't a pass rusher. Still, I don't think they're considering Foster when they just signed a bunch of LBs in FA.
I could see them doubling up on DE at 32 and 42. Maybe guys like TJ Watt, Jordan Willis, Charles Harris, etc.
