So I want to go to an away game this year. I have enough air miles to get a free round trip, but I have not been to any of the cities that we play in. Can anyone give some insight on what might be a good game/place to go to?

@ Titans, no doubt. Nashville is a great little city, should be moderate weather, stadium is centrally located to all the other fun stuff.

Another vote for Nashville. That's the one we are planning on going to, just cause of the downtown atmosphere, with the stadium right there.

Jacksonville & Tampa Bay were the other two games we looked at.

Yeah, I was thinking Tampa Bay because maybe you could go do Busch Gardens, but I was not sure of any others and reading all the things most of the frequent posters say I figured this would be a great place to ask.

My dad did Tampa and Busch Gardens back in '09 and they absolutely loved it. Got great seats for great price (might be harder to accomplish that now).

My friends and I are thinking Tennessee or Carolina. My preference is Tennessee, mostly because we only get the chance to go to each AFC team every 8 years. Carolina and Jacksonville are both still possibilities.

FWIW, Although we don't play up there again till 2018, I've been to Cinci in 2002 and 2010 and it's a cool place. Beautiful stadium on the river and some cool bars. Definitely worth a shot next time or in preseason.

My uncle and I are going to the Tampa game. It should be a fun one.

I'm going to Jville and Tampa since I live in Florida.

Tickets will be cheap for Jville, there is lots of golf, the beach is really nice in October (probably our nicest month), saint augustine is fun to go hang out in for a day, there is lots of fishing, etc

I've been to Tampa. Fantastic stadium and plenty to do in Tampa. I've been to Nashville as well and its a great place. Both would be good choices.

Charlotte would be a great one. I did that one last year. Tickets are cheap, the stadium is nice, and the city is awesome.

I know Charlotte and TB are cool, but as mentioned before, Nashville and Jax are once every 8 years. And it's hard to choose Jacksonville when TB is a nicer place and can be done every year, IMO.

Tampa has been unbelievably hot the past 2 years. Tennessee could potentially be rather cold, isn't that a late season road game?

Yeah, it's in December so it will be chilly, but nothing too bad.

If I could go to one away game this year, I'd want to go to the opener. The game itself is going to be huge, with the past two champions and a national TV audience. And Lambeau Field is one of the only NFL stadiums that stacks up to the big-time college stadiums in terms of history and aura.

Obviously, all of those factors plus the distance makes it a pretty expensive trip, which is why I won't be attending
