Ahead of us Cleveland has 1, so they'll likely try with 12.

San Francisco and Chicago next both might be tempted to.

Jacksonville and LA rams have a young gun, so I say they give them a hit more time.

Jets need one for sure, but they're losing their DL one by one (and some of them are headaches) so do they reload?

Chargers, Cincy, and Carolina do not need a new guy.

Last team before us buffalo: not sure what they do, Taylor looks above average and on a friendly contract.

So all in all, 4 teams ahead of us.

After us: Cleveland at 12, Arizona at 13 (palmer retirement soon?), Denver at 20? (neither guy looks good at all), Houston at 25? (osweiler is not the solution.), and kc at 27 (Alex Smith is the epitome of average).

The more you look at it, we're still in a decent situation

I'm fine with a two spot drop with Arizona. Odds are we would still get the player we want to pick up an extra pick as well.

Dropping into the 20's is just too far. Saints are in win now mode, and I'd say it's more likely we trade up than trade back.

We are really going to suck once Drew leaves. Back to the days of having 3-13 or 4-12 seasons.

The Bills are still trying to decide if they will keep Taylor. The new coaching staff may let him walk and look elsewhere for a QB.

The new OC likes him though and was working with management to target him the last time he was a FA.

We don't need a QB this year.

If the Saints suck this year, then Brees is gone and there are several good QBs in next year's draft. If we don't suck, then Brees will more than likely be resigned to another short term deal.

We need defensive help badly, and offensive line depth and a starter.

I agree we do not need one this year (and the crop is not that good). However, which QBs are you referring to next year?

Don't know why you got downvoted. Going to be a lot of shocked fans this year, methinks.

I like Watson and even the kid from Miami. But I don't want a QB this year unless it's a can't miss guy and none of the QBs this year are can't miss guys. Get a LBer, DE, CB then maybe look at a mid to late round QB.

As for who takes early QBs, I don't think we will see the rush this year. Maybe Arizona and Houston try to move up, but I think a lot of teams will wait and try to land a Dak Prescott in the mid rounds. It's a fickle copycat league.

We'll have to see how highly rated they are after the year is up.

Over the last 30 years the Saints have only had 3 seasons with less than 5 wins (Mora's last year, Ditka's last year, Haslett's last year). In that same time frame, the Saints have made the playoffs more than the number of seasons with less than 5 wins (and that still holds true if you exclude the SP/Brees years)

The saints continue to waste picks on QBs. It's retarded. None of those guys were ever going to play over Brees. Ever.

Get your QB when you actually need one.

we have losing seasons now...just hope that at 3-12 we can rely on our front office to make the right pick and not become the Browns

No we want. If we build a strong oline and defense it want be bad as everyone thinks. Actually will be easy to pull a quality Free Agent QB until we find someone in the draft.
